The Villa is nestled at a private development surrounding a lake in the southern part of Hua Hin in Soi 97, next to the small fisherman Village 'Khao Takiap', which means in Thai 'Chopstick Mountain'.

There are amenities in the vicinity of the Villa, such as small restaurants, convenient stores such as Family Mart, 7/11 or local mum and pop stores. These locations can easily be reached by foot as not further than 1km.

The Villa has a number of bicycles and a Vespa Motorroller available which can be used to do the daily shopping or cruise to the beach, which is about 1.2km near, the town centre is about 7 km away and is best reached by a car or taxi, available at a nominal fee at the Villa. Alternatively, our housekeeper will be happy to assist in calling a pick-up to anywhere in Hua Hin.

The biggest shopping complex is ' Market Village', a 5 storey centre on the main road back to Hua Hin and about 5km away with anything required form Banks, to Fastfood, Cinema or grocery shopping (Tesco Lotus) as well as hairdresser or local crafts and IT requirements. For imported food stuff, 'Villa Market' is the best place to find anything you have at home as well, just about 1.5km further of 'Market Village'. The nearest Hospital, and the best in Hua Hin, is the 'Bangkok Hospital', and about 4Km away and the same main road as the shopping opportunities towards town centre.

The next golfing opportunity is the military gold course 'Sea Pine', which is about 5km and right at the sea.

Our recommendations for eating out would be the following places, displayed in order of distance to the Villa:
